A one ounce pouch of fragrant frankincense resin tears, fresh and of high quality, great for burning over charcoal. At The Hellenic Handmaid I only offer you what I'm proud to use in my own rituals!

Frankincense is prescribed in the ancient Orphic Hymns as offering to many of the Theoi (Gods and Divinity); Ares, Boreas, Dike, Fortune, Herakles, Hermes, Mnemosyne, the Muses, Notos, Ouranos, Tethys, Themis, the Titans, Zephyros, Corybas, the Kouretes, Dikaiosyne, and as a suitable offering ~along with Manna~ to Helios, Hephaistos, and Zeus.

Please read cautions on label. Color and texture may differ very slightly from photo, as this is a natural product. Bowl, spoon and stone pedestal for display only. Product is packaged into a portion that appears on a household scale to be about one and one eighth ounce, accounting for the weight of the packaging; actual weight may vary.

Shipping policies

Please make sure your address is correct before buying. No refunds or replacements are given due to mail delivered to the wrong address (irretrievable mail). I ship on Wednesday and Saturday mornings with exceptions made for Priority Express mail.

LOST MAIL if you suspect your order is lost in transit or otherwise missing, please call your local post office for help in locating your package and/or filing a claim using your tracking number. (You must file any claim for your package) In most cases your order will still arrive late, or a neighbor has received it. Sorry, I am not able to send replacements or refunds due to errors in delivery caused by the post office.

Safety Warnings

Use caution with fire and burning materials like incense, and keep away from children, pets and other flammable materials. Always burn material in a heat safe vessel and do not leave unattended!

Incenses and other organic materials can induce allergies in some people. None of my herbs or incenses are intended to be consumed. My products are not intended to cure, diagnose, treat, or prevent any physical or spiritual condition.

Packaging included with your order, including any plastic bags, tape, labels and bubble wrap should never be kept within reach of children or pets, as they present a choking and suffocation hazard and are not toys.

Environmental Responsibility

I pledge that The Hellenic Handmaid will continue to be as environmentally friendly as it can be! In every instance reused and biodegradable/recyclable shipping materials are favored. Packing slips are not provided with your order but may be requested.

Every year a portion of this shop's sales is devoted to planting trees and donating to organizations that do the same. As of 2022, we have planted 339 trees together! Thank you for contributing to global reforestation efforts!
